BREAKING: Venezuelan Gang Member ATTACKS Border Patrol Agents in Portland - Officer Forced to FIRE Weapon

The violent criminal invasion that President Trump has been warning Americans about just got deadly serious in Portland, where a suspected member of the notorious Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua allegedly attempted to mow down U.S. Border Patrol agents with his vehicle.

Federal authorities have charged the suspected gangbanger with attempting to run over immigration officers, forcing one Border Patrol agent to draw his weapon and fire a defensive shot at the attacking vehicle. This is the kind of life-or-death situation our brave border agents face every single day thanks to the Biden administration's catastrophic open border policies.

Another Gift From Biden's Border Crisis

Tren de Aragua isn't just any street gang - they're a transnational criminal organization that originated in Venezuela's prison system and has spread their reign of terror across South America and now into American communities. These aren't "asylum seekers" or "migrants looking for a better life" - these are hardened criminals who bring violence and chaos wherever they go.

The incident in Portland perfectly illustrates why President Trump made mass deportations the centerpiece of his second-term agenda. While Democrats and their media allies called Trump's warnings about Venezuelan gang members "xenophobic," our law enforcement officers are literally dodging cars driven by foreign criminals on American soil.

"This is exactly what happens when you have an administration that refuses to secure the border and vet who's coming into our country," said one immigration expert familiar with the case.

How many more Border Patrol agents will be put in harm's way before every last one of these criminal invaders is rounded up and shipped back where they came from? And how many American communities will have to endure the violence and chaos that follows these gangs wherever they set up shop?

President Trump can't move fast enough to launch the largest deportation operation in American history. The safety of our border agents and American families depends on it.

Our officers did what they had to do to protect themselves and the community. Period.

As a retired LEO, I can tell you these situations escalate fast. Split-second decisions with lives on the line. My thoughts are with the officer and their family tonight.

I live 30 miles from the border and see this stuff happening daily. The media just doesn't report most of it. Thank God this officer is safe.

Why is Portland even dealing with border issues? Shouldn't these individuals be processed at the actual border?

They're being bused and flown to sanctuary cities. Portland asked for this with their policies.

When will our leaders finally admit we have a serious problem? How many more incidents before they take action?

This is exactly what we've been warning about! Our border agents are being put in impossible situations while politicians turn a blind eye.

Absolutely right. These agents deserve our full support, not criticism from the left.
