British Defense Secretary John Healey has made shocking statements about wanting to capture Russian President Vladimir Putin and put him on trial for war crimes, drawing fierce backlash from the Kremlin and raising serious questions about whether European allies are trying to sabotage President Trump's peace efforts in Ukraine.
Healey made the inflammatory remarks during a visit to Kiev, where he met with Ukrainian President Zelensky to discuss what some are calling the deployment of British troops. The timing couldn't be worse – just as the Trump-Vance administration is preparing diplomatic initiatives to end the costly and dangerous conflict.
Social media erupted over Healey's reckless comments. "Unthinkable," posted one observer, sharing reports that the "UK threatens to 'kidnap Putin' as Russia continues horror bombardment of Ukraine." Another user called it "Absolute Delusion," warning that "NOTHING moves on that soil without the Tsar's approval in the Kremlin. Any step ignored is a suicide mission."
But Healey didn't stop there. British journalist Jack Elsom revealed exclusively that "British forces are being readied to snatch more of Russia's shadow fleet," with Healey telling The Sun he's looking at "further military options" to intercept Russian ships.
"They're living in a fantasy... Wake up to reality," one social media user warned about the dangerous escalation.
This kind of warmongering rhetoric is exactly what Americans rejected when they elected President Trump to end these endless foreign conflicts. While Trump and his team work on actual solutions through strength and diplomacy, European leaders seem determined to drag the world toward World War III.
The question patriots must ask: Are our supposed allies deliberately trying to undermine Trump's peace efforts before he can even implement them? And why are British officials making threats they clearly can't back up, potentially putting American interests at risk?
America First means ending these costly wars and focusing on our own border security and national interests – not enabling European fantasy adventures that could spiral into global catastrophe.
