The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who was forced to use deadly force against illegal immigration activist Renee Good last week is now fighting serious internal injuries after she deliberately rammed him with her vehicle, Department of Homeland Security officials confirmed.
According to two U.S. officials briefed on the agent's condition, the dedicated law enforcement officer suffered internal bleeding in his torso after 37-year-old Good used her car as a weapon against him. The extent of his injuries remains unclear as he continues to recover from what can only be described as an attempted murder.
Of course, the mainstream media and radical left are spinning this story to make Good look like a victim while completely ignoring the fact that she violently assaulted a federal agent who was simply doing his job to protect Americans from illegal immigration.
Another Victim of Open-Borders Extremism
This is what happens when the left's anti-ICE rhetoric reaches a fever pitch. For years, Democrats and their media allies have demonized our brave immigration enforcement officers, calling them "Nazis" and "concentration camp guards." Is anyone surprised that this kind of violent resistance was the inevitable result?
Good was reportedly involved in pro-illegal immigrant activism, part of the growing movement of radicals who believe our immigration laws shouldn't be enforced at all. These are the same people who want to abolish ICE entirely and turn America into a sanctuary country for anyone who wants to waltz across our borders.
"This agent was doing his sworn duty to enforce the laws that Congress passed and the American people demand," one DHS source told reporters. "He shouldn't have to risk his life because some activist thinks immigration law doesn't apply to her."
Thanks to President Trump's leadership, ICE agents finally have the backing they need to do their jobs without apologizing. But incidents like this show just how dangerous the left's anti-law enforcement agenda has become.
How many more of our brave agents will be put in harm's way by activists who think violence is an acceptable response to immigration enforcement?
