A Jacksonville woman learned the hard way that interfering with President Trump's immigration enforcement comes with serious consequences after she was arrested for punching a Florida state trooper during an ICE operation on Tuesday.
Jennifer Cruz, 40, apparently thought she could single-handedly stop federal immigration enforcement on Beach Boulevard by assaulting law enforcement officers. She was dead wrong.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier delivered a brutal reality check to Cruz and anyone else thinking about obstructing Trump's mass deportation agenda.
"The idea that you're going to assault one of our troopers is unacceptable, and you are going to face consequences as a result of that," Uthmeier declared.
His message to Cruz was simple and devastating: "Not today, Jennifer."
This incident perfectly illustrates the clash between Trump's America First immigration enforcement and the radical left's lawless resistance. While ICE agents were doing their job to remove illegal aliens from American communities, Cruz decided to make herself the story by attacking the very officers protecting our borders.
Trump's ICE Operations Face Leftist Obstruction
The Beach Boulevard operation represents exactly the kind of decisive immigration enforcement that Trump promised during his campaign. No more catch-and-release. No more sanctuary city nonsense. Just swift, effective removal of those who have no right to be here.
But predictably, the left can't handle seeing actual border security in action. Instead of celebrating the removal of illegal aliens from their community, activists like Cruz choose violence against law enforcement.
This is the same mentality that gave us the "abolish ICE" movement and sanctuary cities that harbor criminals. These people would rather assault cops than see immigration law enforced.
Cruz's arrest sends a clear message: Florida won't tolerate interference with federal immigration operations. Governor DeSantis has made it clear that the Sunshine State will fully cooperate with Trump's deportation agenda, and incidents like this prove they mean business.
How many more leftist activists will learn this lesson the hard way before they realize Trump's immigration agenda isn't going anywhere?
