In a move that has Hollywood's woke brigade scrambling for their safe spaces, Star Trek legend William Shatner just threw his support behind White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller's blistering criticism of the franchise's latest progressive propaganda piece, "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy."

The 93-year-old icon who brought Captain Kirk to life announced on X Monday that he's "on the same page" with Miller's takedown of the science fiction series' newest television disaster. When Miller and countless X users began mocking clips from the diversity-obsessed show, Shatner didn't retreat like some aging Hollywood has-been desperate to stay relevant with the woke mob – he doubled down.

"Ready to assume command," Shatner declared, signaling he's prepared to take back the bridge from the social justice warriors who have hijacked Gene Roddenberry's vision and turned it into another vehicle for leftist indoctrination.

Miller's Criticism Strikes a Nerve

Miller's critique clearly touched a raw nerve in Tinseltown, where executives have spent decades systematically destroying beloved franchises by injecting them with progressive poison. The Trump administration official joined a growing chorus of fans who are fed up with seeing classic American entertainment transformed into woke lecture halls.

This isn't just about one TV show, folks – it's about the broader cultural war raging across America. For too long, Hollywood elites have weaponized our childhood heroes and beloved stories to push their radical agenda down our throats. From Disney's destruction of Star Wars to Netflix's race-swapped historical dramas, nothing is sacred to these cultural Marxists.

"Ready to assume command" – William Shatner backing Stephen Miller's Star Trek criticism

But here's what has the left truly terrified: When original stars like Shatner start speaking out, it exposes the lie that America wants this garbage. Real Americans – including the actors who built these franchises – are rejecting Hollywood's woke revolution.

With Trump back in the White House and patriots like Miller calling out cultural decay wherever they find it, could this be the beginning of the end for woke entertainment? The original Captain Kirk seems ready to lead that charge.

I've been saying this for years - modern Star Trek has completely lost its way. When I watch TOS with my kids, they actually get excited about space exploration instead of being preached to about politics.

Finally! The Captain we actually need and deserve. Shatner understands that Star Trek was about exploration and hope, not the woke garbage they're pushing now.

Exactly! The original series had real values and didn't lecture us every episode.

Stephen Miller was absolutely right in his criticism. It's refreshing to see Shatner stand up and not bow to the Hollywood mob.

This is why I only watch the original series and TNG anymore. At least those shows believed in humanity's potential instead of constantly tearing down our values and traditions.

Does anyone know if there's been any response from the current Star Trek producers? I'm curious how they'll try to spin this one.

They'll probably just ignore it like they do all legitimate criticism of their shows.
