Bruce Springsteen proved once again that Hollywood elites live in a completely different reality than working Americans, launching a disgusting attack on Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers during an unplanned concert Saturday night.
The 76-year-old has-been dedicated his performance of "The Promised Land" to "murdered" activist Renee Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis last week after she drove her SUV directly toward the federal officer. But here's what Springsteen conveniently left out: Good was literally trying to run down a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon.
During his rant, Springsteen called ICE agents "Gestapo" - comparing American immigration officers to Nazi secret police. This is the same tired, disgusting playbook the radical left has been using for years to demonize the brave men and women who risk their lives to enforce our immigration laws.
The Real Story Media Won't Tell You
While Springsteen and his celebrity friends paint Good as some kind of martyr, the facts tell a different story. An ICE agent was conducting lawful immigration enforcement when Good made the decision to use her vehicle as a weapon. Any reasonable person understands that law enforcement officers have the right to defend themselves when someone tries to kill them with a 3,000-pound SUV.
But don't expect Boss Bruce to mention those inconvenient details. He's too busy virtue signaling to his wealthy liberal audience who haven't faced the real-world consequences of open borders policies.
"This is exactly the kind of anti-law enforcement rhetoric that puts our officers in danger every single day," said one former ICE official who requested anonymity.
This latest outburst comes as President Trump's administration ramps up deportation operations across the country, finally delivering on the mandate American voters gave him in November. Of course, that has celebrities like Springsteen absolutely losing their minds.
Patriots need to ask themselves: Why are wealthy entertainers so desperate to protect people who attack federal agents? And why do they hate immigration enforcement so much that they'll compare American officers to Nazis?
