Another shocking case of criminal illegal aliens infiltrating American institutions has come to light as former Iowa school superintendent Ian Roberts pleaded guilty Thursday to federal charges of possessing weapons as an illegal alien and lying about his immigration status.

Roberts, who somehow managed to secure one of the most trusted positions in education - overseeing the safety and education of American children - has now admitted he was living a complete lie while collecting taxpayer-funded paychecks.

The case perfectly illustrates the massive failures of our immigration system that President Trump is now working to fix with his mass deportation agenda. How many more criminal illegal aliens are hiding in positions of authority across America?

Background Check Failures Exposed

The fact that Roberts was able to not only remain in the country illegally but rise to the position of school superintendent raises serious questions about background check procedures and verification systems. Parents trusted this man with their children's education and safety, never knowing he was living under false pretenses.

This case comes at a perfect time as the Trump administration ramps up enforcement efforts. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and the entire Trump team are working around the clock to identify and remove criminal illegal aliens who have been gaming the system for years.

"Every criminal illegal alien in a position of authority represents a betrayal of the American people's trust," one immigration enforcement expert noted.

Roberts' guilty plea means he'll likely face deportation proceedings in addition to potential prison time. But how many others like him are still out there, hiding in plain sight in our schools, government offices, and other institutions?

The Trump administration's commitment to thorough background checks and immigration enforcement is exactly what's needed to root out these cases of fraud and deception. American families deserve to know that the people in positions of authority over their children are there legally and honestly.

This case should serve as a wake-up call: the deep state's willingness to look the other way on immigration enforcement has real consequences for real American families. How many more Ian Roberts cases are waiting to be uncovered?

I sit on our local school board and this story makes my blood boil. Parents trust us to make sure the people educating their kids are honest and qualified - this superintendent violated that trust completely.

This is exactly why we need to verify the backgrounds of EVERYONE in positions of authority over our children. How many other school districts have administrators who lied about their status? Our tax dollars shouldn't be paying the salaries of people who broke the law to get here.

Agreed! Makes you wonder what other lies they've been telling if they started their career with fraud.
