Just one week into President Trump's historic mass deportation operation, radical Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania is showing his true colors by attacking Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who are finally doing their job.

Shapiro, widely considered a frontrunner for the Democrats' 2028 presidential nomination, claimed Tuesday that ICE has no legitimate "mission" when operating in cities like Minneapolis. Instead, the Pennsylvania governor outrageously suggested that federal immigration agents exist solely "to violate people's constitutional rights."

This is the same Josh Shapiro who was nearly selected as Kamala Harris's running mate in 2024 before Democrats deemed him too moderate. Apparently, that facade is crumbling fast as he races to the left to appeal to the radical base that controls his party.

Defending Lawbreakers Over Law-Abiding Americans

Shapiro's attack on ICE comes as Trump's administration is delivering on its core campaign promise to restore order at our borders and remove criminal illegal aliens who have terrorized American communities for years. These aren't random raids – these are targeted operations against individuals who have already been ordered deported by federal judges.

But for Democrats like Shapiro, enforcing immigration law is somehow a constitutional violation. This is the same warped thinking that gave us sanctuary cities, catch-and-release policies, and the Biden border crisis that allowed millions of unvetted migrants to flood into our country.

"The American people voted for deportations, they voted for border security, and they voted to end the lawlessness that Democrats enabled for four years," said one Trump administration official.

What's truly unconstitutional is allowing foreign nationals to ignore federal law while law-abiding Americans foot the bill for their housing, healthcare, and education. What's unconstitutional is prioritizing the "rights" of people who shouldn't be here over the safety and prosperity of American citizens.

Shapiro's comments reveal the fundamental disconnect between the Democrat Party and working Americans who are tired of being told that enforcing our laws is somehow bigoted or unconstitutional. This is exactly the kind of elite, open-borders thinking that cost Democrats the White House, Senate, and House in 2024.

As Trump's deportation operation continues to remove criminal aliens from our communities, expect more Democrat politicians to show their true allegiances. The question is: will voters remember in 2028 who stood with lawbreakers over law-abiding Americans?

This is exactly why Trump won in a landslide. Americans are tired of open borders and weak enforcement.

Already gearing up for 2028 with the same failed talking points. At least we know who NOT to vote for when the time comes.

Finally! Trump is keeping his promises while these Dems are already trying to obstruct law and order. ICE does the job that needs to be done.

Exactly right! They campaign on feelings instead of facts.

Been dealing with this crisis on my property for years. Anyone attacking ICE has never lived on the border and seen what we deal with daily.

How is enforcing existing immigration law controversial? These Dems live in a fantasy world where laws don't matter.

Because they benefit from cheap labor and dependent voters. Follow the money.

I served this country for 20 years and it's infuriating to see politicians attack the very agencies protecting our sovereignty. ICE agents are heroes doing a thankless job.

Which 2028 hopeful are we talking about here? Need to know who to keep an eye on early. These career politicians never change their tune.
