EXPOSED: New Jersey Dem Governor ATTACKS Trump's Government Efficiency Push as 'Illegal'

New Jersey's Democrat Governor Mikie Sherrill is having a complete meltdown over President Trump's decision to freeze $16 billion in funding for the Gateway Tunnel project, desperately claiming the move is an "illegal attack" on her state. But patriots know what this really is: Trump delivering on his promise to end wasteful government spending and drain the swamp.

Sherrill, clearly panicking that her state's gravy train might be coming to an end, is warning that 100,000 jobs are supposedly at risk. But where was this concern for American workers when the Biden regime was shipping jobs overseas and opening our borders to millions of illegal immigrants who undercut wages?

Trump's DOGE Initiative Working Exactly as Promised

This funding freeze is exactly what Trump and Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was designed to accomplish. While Democrats like Sherrill want to throw billions at pet projects with zero accountability, President Trump is asking the tough questions: Does this project serve America First priorities? Is this the best use of taxpayer dollars?

The Gateway Tunnel has been a perfect example of government waste for years, with costs ballooning and timelines stretching endlessly while bureaucrats get rich and nothing gets built. Sound familiar? It's the same swamp playbook we've seen for decades.

"We're not going to stand by and watch as Washington politicians raid the Treasury for their favorite projects while hardworking Americans struggle with inflation and high taxes,"

a senior administration official told reporters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Democrats Choose Pork Over People

Instead of working with President Trump to find efficient, cost-effective solutions for infrastructure, Sherrill immediately ran to her allies in the corrupt mainstream media to cry "illegal." This is the same playbook Democrats used throughout Trump's first term – when they can't win on the merits, they lawyer up and throw tantrums.

Real Americans are tired of watching their tax dollars disappear into these endless boondoggles while our border remains wide open and our veterans go without proper care. President Trump promised to be a good steward of taxpayer money, and that's exactly what he's doing.

Will Governor Sherrill work constructively with the Trump administration to find real solutions, or will she continue this political theater while New Jersey families struggle with the failures of Democrat policies?

What exactly is 'illegal' about making government more efficient? Sounds like Murphy is scared of losing his slush fund.

I've worked in state government for 15 years and the amount of redundancy and waste I see daily is staggering. We need Trump's efficiency push more than ever.

As someone who runs a small business in NJ, I deal with government inefficiency every single day. The permit process alone takes months when it should take weeks.

Feel your pain! The regulatory burden in blue states is crushing small businesses.

How can reducing government waste and improving efficiency ever be considered 'illegal'? This governor clearly doesn't understand his role as a public servant.

Murphy has been a disaster for NJ taxpayers. Now he's fighting against the one thing that could actually help us - government efficiency!

Of course a Dem governor is fighting against government efficiency! They can't survive without their bloated bureaucracies and endless waste.

Exactly! Less government waste means less money for their pet projects and kickbacks.
