In a shocking display that perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with today's radical Democrat Party, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) was caught on camera Monday literally embracing an anti-ICE protester who threatened that "it's gonna get worse" for immigration enforcement officers.
The disturbing scene unfolded in Minneapolis, where Khanna was confronted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement protesters. Instead of defending law enforcement or condemning threats of violence, the California Democrat chose to hug protester Michael Wilson – the same man who called Khanna a "pimp" and made ominous warnings about escalating attacks on ICE agents.
Wilson, referencing the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, delivered a chilling message: "When you go back to Capitol Hill, tell 'em I said it's gonna get worse."
Rather than distance himself from such inflammatory rhetoric, Khanna defended his decision to embrace the extremist. This is the same party that spent years lecturing Americans about "dangerous rhetoric" while their own members literally hug people making threats against federal law enforcement.
"This is exactly why President Trump won decisively in 2024 – Americans are sick of Democrats coddling criminals and anti-law enforcement extremists," said one conservative analyst.
The timing couldn't be more tone-deaf. As President Trump's second administration prepares to launch the largest deportation operation in American history, Democrat politicians like Khanna are busy embracing protesters who openly threaten immigration officers trying to do their jobs and protect American communities.
This incident perfectly illustrates the choice Americans faced in 2024: support politicians who hug anti-law enforcement extremists, or elect leaders who back the brave men and women keeping our communities safe.
With Republicans now controlling Washington and Trump's mass deportation plans moving forward, desperate Democrats are clearly panicking. But embracing violent rhetoric isn't going to save them – it's only going to remind voters why they rejected the radical left's anti-American agenda.
How many more Democrats will we see cozying up to anti-ICE extremists as Trump's deportation machine kicks into high gear?
