Kid Rock just did what no other celebrity in America has the guts to do – he walked into the United States Senate and told the brutal truth about the rigged ticketing monopoly that's been bleeding American fans dry for decades.

In explosive testimony before the Senate Commerce Committee, the rock icon didn't mince words about Live Nation and Ticketmaster's stranglehold on the entertainment industry. And he dropped a bombshell revelation: he personally warned Live Nation's CEO that President Trump was coming for their corrupt system.

"I told him when President Trump got back in office, I was coming for him on tickets," Kid Rock declared. "The CEO said 'go for it.' So here we are now."

Unlike every other artist who stays silent because they're controlled by record companies, managers, and corporate deals, Kid Rock made it clear: "I ain't scared." That's because he's beholden to no one – which is exactly why he could expose what others won't dare touch.

30 Years of Corporate Lies Exposed

Kid Rock reminded senators that Pearl Jam warned about this exact same ticketing abuse three decades ago. In 2009, Congress was sold a lie that the Live Nation-Ticketmaster merger would "benefit fans and lower costs." The CEO called it an "experiment."

Kid Rock called it what it really was: "A monopoly dressed up as innovation."

The results? Independent venues crushed. Artists stripped of leverage. Fans paying more than ever. From 2019 to 2024 alone, hidden fees totaled over $16 BILLION – that's billion with a B, folks.

Fighting Back with the Fans First Act

Senator Marsha Blackburn is leading the charge with the Fans First Act, which would require full fee disclosure and crack down on ticket bots. Kid Rock proposed an even simpler solution that already works across Europe: a 10% cap on resale ticket prices.

"What other business in America doesn't control its own inventory?" Kid Rock demanded, calling for Congress to subpoena contracts between artists, promoters, and ticketing companies to expose "mountains of fraud and abuse."

As Kid Rock closed his testimony quoting The Who – "We won't get fooled again" – one thing became crystal clear: the Trump administration isn't just coming for the Deep State. They're coming for every rigged system that's been screwing over everyday Americans.

Will Congress finally have the backbone to break up this monopoly, or will they keep letting corporate lobbyists write the rules?

FINALLY someone with the guts to call out Live Nation! I've been saying for years that their fees are absolutely insane - sometimes doubling the actual ticket price. Good for Kid Rock!

Same here! Tried to buy tickets for my daughter last month and the 'convenience fees' were $40 per ticket. Highway robbery!

This is exactly why we need Trump back in office. He's not afraid to take on the big corporations that are ripping off hardworking Americans.

Can someone explain how Live Nation got so big in the first place? Wasn't there supposed to be antitrust laws preventing this kind of monopoly situation?

They merged with Ticketmaster back in 2010 under Obama's watch. Should have been blocked but somehow got approved with 'conditions' that were never enforced.

Kid Rock telling it like it is! The man's been fighting for regular folks his whole career and now he's taking it to the Senate floor.
