Texas Democrat James Talarico is once again proving why his party has completely lost touch with mainstream American values, this time claiming that atheists are more "Christ-like" than his Christian colleagues during an appearance on a podcast hosted by longtime Democrat operative James Carville.

The controversial state representative, who's mounting what most consider a doomed Senate campaign, made the inflammatory remarks while discussing his fellow lawmakers. This is the same politician who previously declared that God is "nonbinary," showing a clear pattern of using faith as a political weapon against conservatives.

Think about the sheer audacity here, folks. A Democrat politician is literally telling Christians that people who don't even believe in Christ are somehow better at following His teachings than actual believers. This isn't just tone-deaf—it's a deliberate attack on the faith of millions of Texans.

"What we're seeing is classic Democrat elitism," said one Texas GOP strategist. "They think they can lecture Christians about Christianity while simultaneously undermining everything the faith stands for."

Talarico's comments expose the left's fundamental misunderstanding of faith and their desperate attempt to weaponize religion for political gain. While President Trump and his administration are working to restore religious freedom and protect Christian values, Democrats like Talarico are busy telling believers they're doing faith wrong.

This is exactly why Texans rejected this kind of radical ideology in 2024, delivering a crushing defeat to Democrats across the state. From his "nonbinary God" comments to now claiming atheists are superior Christians, Talarico represents everything wrong with today's Democrat Party.

The real question is: How long will Texas voters tolerate politicians who mock their deeply held beliefs while claiming to represent their interests? Talarico's Senate campaign was already facing long odds in deep-red Texas, but these latest comments might just seal his political fate.

Patriots across the Lone Star State are watching, and they won't forget come election time.

I've been a practicing Christian for over 40 years and I've seen firsthand how much good our church communities do for people in need. To suggest that atheists are somehow more Christ-like than actual Christians is not just offensive, it's completely backwards.

This is exactly why we can't trust these radical Democrats. How can someone running for Senate in TEXAS of all places think it's okay to attack people of faith like this? Shows how out of touch they are with real Texan values.

Just shows how far left the Democratic party has gone. They used to at least pretend to respect Christians.

Completely agree! Texas has always been a God-fearing state and we need to keep it that way.
