The radical left in Minneapolis has reached peak absurdity. After years of demanding the abolition of ICE and Border Patrol, these same liberals are now creating their own version of border enforcement β but not to keep illegal aliens out. Instead, they're forming citizen patrols to keep federal immigration agents OUT of their sanctuary communities.
According to reports from The Michael Knowles Show, Minneapolis progressives have organized neighborhood watch groups specifically designed to interfere with ICE operations and warn illegal immigrants about incoming raids. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
Social media users are having a field day pointing out the blatant contradiction. Dr. Ron Elfenbein tweeted, "You cannot make this stuff up!! Minneapolis Liberals Invent Their Own Border Patrol," capturing the bewilderment many Americans feel watching this unfold.
"Do they not see themselves? This is very NAZI-Like!" posted another user, highlighting the authoritarian tactics being employed by the supposed champions of "democracy."
This comes as President Trump's mass deportation operation, led by Secretary Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security, ramps up enforcement nationwide. The administration has made it clear that sanctuary cities will not be allowed to obstruct federal immigration law.
One patriot on social media perfectly summed up the situation: "Only the liberals and the Democrats Do Not remember when Clinton and Obama, as well as other Presidents, spoke out against illegal entry into the USA. Trump did not invent the issue, but we love he is addressing it. Secure our borders, deport, deport!"
The Minneapolis liberal patrol represents everything wrong with progressive priorities. They'll create their own enforcement mechanisms to protect people who broke our laws, while simultaneously demanding we defund the very agencies tasked with protecting American citizens.
How long will law-abiding Americans tolerate this obstruction of justice? The Trump administration has the tools to crack down on sanctuary city interference β the question is whether they'll use them.
