Another day, another outrageous attack on law enforcement from one of America's most anti-cop prosecutors. Travis County District Attorney José Garza has once again shown his true colors by indicting a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper while the career criminal gang member the officer was chasing remains free to terrorize Austin streets.
This is the same radical DA who has made a career out of persecuting police officers while coddling violent criminals through his revolving-door justice system. And now he's at it again, targeting the very heroes who risk their lives to protect Texans from the human predators Garza refuses to prosecute.
The Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT) has had enough, issuing a scathing condemnation of Garza's latest anti-police crusade. As reported by the Texan Report, CLEAT blasted the indictment in a statement that highlights the backwards priorities plaguing Travis County's justice system.
"CLEAT Condemns Trooper Indictment by Travis County District Attorney," the organization declared, showing that law enforcement groups are standing up to this prosecutorial misconduct.
Think about the insanity here, Patriots. A documented gang member with multiple pending felonies gets to walk free while the trooper who courageously pursued this criminal faces prosecution. This isn't justice – it's a complete inversion of law and order that would make George Soros proud.
Garza's track record speaks for itself. He's built his reputation on going after cops while treating career criminals like victims. Meanwhile, ordinary Austinites live in fear as violent offenders cycle through his catch-and-release system faster than you can say "defund the police."
This is exactly the kind of Soros-backed prosecutor corruption that President Trump has promised to investigate and combat. While the Trump-Vance administration works to restore law and order nationally, local DAs like Garza continue undermining public safety with their woke ideology.
How many more police officers will Garza sacrifice on the altar of radical leftist politics while gang members roam free in Texas? It's time for Lone Star State voters to demand better than this prosecutorial malpractice masquerading as justice.
