With the Department of Homeland Security facing a potential shutdown that would affect TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard, what are Senate Democrats doing? Instead of working with the Trump-Vance Administration to secure our borders, they're demanding changes to immigration enforcement – translation: they want to tie the hands of our border agents and immigration officers.
This is the same party that spent four years under Biden turning our southern border into a superhighway for illegal aliens, drug cartels, and human traffickers. Now that President Trump is back in office and getting serious about deportations, suddenly Democrats have discovered they care about "government funding."
The Real Agenda Behind the Obstruction
Make no mistake – this isn't about budgets or fiscal responsibility. This is about Democrats trying to protect their illegal alien voter base and undermine the America First agenda that swept Trump back into power. They know that Secretary Kristi Noem at DHS is serious about border security, and they're terrified.
While hardworking Americans are struggling with inflation and crime in their communities – much of it driven by Biden's border disaster – Senate Democrats are more concerned with protecting criminals who shouldn't even be in this country.
"The American people voted for mass deportation and border security. Democrats need to stop playing games with our national security and fund DHS without poison pill amendments," a senior administration official told reporters.
The hypocrisy is staggering. These are the same Democrats who had no problem rubber-stamping billions for Ukraine while our own border remained wide open. Now they want to negotiate away Trump's mandate to secure America?

Even with Trump back in office and Republicans controlling Congress, the swamp creatures are still trying to obstruct the will of the American people.
