In an absolutely disgraceful display during a House hearing, Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) launched into a vicious tirade against ICE officers, accusing these brave men and women of "criminal conduct" and "illegal activities" simply for doing their jobs - enforcing the law that Congress passed.
This is the same radical mindset that gave us sanctuary cities, catch-and-release policies, and the worst border crisis in American history under the Biden regime. Now that Trump is back in the White House and actually securing our borders, these America-Last Democrats are having complete meltdowns.
Democrats Choose Illegals Over Americans - Again
What's truly outrageous here is that Thanedar - who represents Detroit, a city plagued by crime and economic hardship - is more concerned about protecting illegal aliens than defending the American citizens he was elected to serve. These are the same ICE agents working overtime to remove dangerous criminals, drug dealers, and gang members from our communities.
But according to Thanedar and his radical Democrat colleagues, enforcing immigration law makes YOU the criminal. It's absolutely backwards, and it shows just how far left the Democrat party has moved.
"When Democrats call our law enforcement officers 'thugs,' they're telling you exactly where their priorities lie - and it's not with the American people," one House Republican said after the hearing.
This despicable rhetoric isn't just an insult to every ICE agent risking their lives to protect Americans - it's a direct attack on the rule of law itself. These agents aren't "thugs." They're patriots doing the job that weak politicians refused to do for decades.
President Trump promised to launch the largest deportation operation in American history, and he's delivering. The fact that Democrats are now resorting to name-calling and character assassination shows they know they're losing this fight.
