Patriots, we have a problem. Every February, millions of Americans unknowingly participate in the systematic erasure of George Washington — the man who literally founded our nation — by calling his birthday "Presidents Day."

Here's what the establishment doesn't want you to know: the federal holiday celebrated this February 16th is NOT "Presidents Day." According to federal law, it's "Washington's Birthday," period. Yet thanks to decades of cultural Marxism and historical revisionism, most Americans have been brainwashed into believing we're celebrating all presidents equally.

This is exactly the kind of woke nonsense that real Americans are sick and tired of. George Washington didn't cross the Delaware River and defeat the British Empire so future generations could lump him in with failures like Jimmy Carter and Joe Biden.

The Perfect Moment for Restoration

With America's 250th anniversary approaching in 2026, there has never been a better time for Congress to clarify that February 16th honors Washington — and Washington alone. The Federalist recently highlighted this travesty, noting how the generic "Presidents Day" marketing push has successfully memory-holed the Father of our Country.

Think about it: would we rename Independence Day as "National Holiday Day"? Would we call Christmas "Winter Holiday"? Of course not. Yet somehow, we've allowed the left to strip Washington's name from his own birthday celebration.

Under President Trump's leadership, we've seen a renewed appreciation for America's founding principles and the great men who established them. This administration has already moved to restore patriotic education and combat the 1619 Project lies infecting our schools.

"Washington's Birthday should honor Washington — not be watered down into some generic celebration that puts him on equal footing with presidents who wouldn't be fit to shine his boots."

It's time for congressional Republicans to take action. Pass a resolution making it crystal clear that February 16th celebrates George Washington specifically. Restore his name to federal communications, government websites, and official proclamations.

Our Founding Fathers deserve better than this cultural erasure. Will your representatives fight to honor Washington properly, or will they continue letting the left rewrite our history?

Question for everyone - are your local schools still teaching about Valley Forge and Washington crossing the Delaware? Because mine sure aren't focusing on it like they used to.

My daughter's teacher spent more time on other presidents than Washington on HIS holiday. It's ridiculous.

Finally someone said it! My kids came home from school last week and didn't even know it was Washington's Birthday - they just called it Presidents Day and lumped all presidents together. We need to teach our children about the man who literally founded our nation!

Same thing happening in my district. We're not even allowed to focus specifically on Washington anymore - it has to be 'inclusive' of all presidents.

This is exactly the kind of historical revisionism that's destroying our country's foundations. Washington deserves his own day - period.
