The radical left has reached a new low of shameless hypocrisy. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ), a Democrat currently facing federal charges for assaulting federal law enforcement officers, had the audacity to sit in a congressional hearing Tuesday and ask acting ICE Director Todd Lyons whether he believes he'll "go to hell."
Let that sink in, patriots. A sitting member of Congress who allegedly ATTACKED the very federal agents she's supposed to respect is now playing moral judge and jury over President Trump's ICE leadership team. The sheer nerve is breathtaking, even by Democrat standards.
During the House Committee on Homeland Security hearing, McIver directed her unhinged question straight at Lyons, apparently thinking she has some moral authority to question anyone's eternal destination. This is the same woman who stands accused of violence against the men and women in uniform who risk their lives to protect our communities.
Democrat Double Standards on Full Display
The timing couldn't be more perfect to expose the left's complete moral bankruptcy. While President Trump's administration works tirelessly to secure our border and enforce immigration laws - exactly what the American people voted for - Democrats like McIver are more interested in playing gotcha games and invoking religion when it suits their political theater.
Where was McIver's concern about morality when she allegedly put her hands on federal officers? Where was her spiritual guidance then? But now she wants to lecture Trump's ICE director about the afterlife while he's doing the job Americans elected Trump to do - removing dangerous criminals from our streets.
This is what desperation looks like, folks. The Democrats know their open-border policies were rejected by voters in November, and they're lashing out at anyone enforcing the law they refuse to respect.
How can any American take seriously a party that puts alleged cop-assaulters in positions of authority while they lecture others about morality? The hypocrisy is staggering, but it perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with today's radical Democrat Party.
