Shri Thanedar (D-MI), a far-left progressive who clearly despises American sovereignty, exploded in fury at top Trump administration immigration officials during what should have been a professional oversight hearing. The unhinged Democrat called hardworking federal immigration officers "thugs" and ominously told Trump officials they "better hope" for a presidential pardon.
This is the same Democrat Party that spent years crying about "threats to democracy" and "dangerous rhetoric," folks. Yet here's one of their own members essentially threatening federal law enforcement officers who are simply doing their jobs - enforcing immigration law that Congress passed.
Democrats Show Their True Colors
Thanedar's meltdown perfectly captures how Democrats really feel about enforcing our immigration laws. They don't want border security. They don't want deportations of illegal aliens. They want chaos, and they'll attack anyone who stands in their way - even career federal officers just following the law.
"These are federal law enforcement professionals doing exactly what the American people voted for in November 2024," said one congressional source familiar with the hearing. "For a sitting congressman to attack them like this is disgraceful."
President Trump's immigration team has been working around the clock to implement the mass deportation operation that 75 million Americans voted for. They're removing dangerous criminals, gang members, and illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country. This is what we elected Trump to do.
But Democrats like Thanedar would rather protect foreign nationals than American citizens. They're more concerned about the feelings of people who broke our laws than the safety of the communities being terrorized by criminal aliens.
