Liberal activists in Los Angeles have found a new way to obstruct President Trump's mass deportation operation — and it involves turning entire neighborhoods into alarm-riddled sanctuaries for illegal aliens.
Amanda Alcalde, founder of the Highland Park Community Support Group, is spearheading an effort to install sirens throughout LA neighborhoods that will blare whenever Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are spotted in the area.
"We'd like to ultimately have this along all the different streets so they can take shelter," Alcalde told KTLA-TV, admitting the scheme "feels dystopian in a way."
That's because it IS dystopian, Amanda. What we're witnessing is left-wing extremists literally creating an early warning system to help people who broke our immigration laws evade federal law enforcement.
Obstruction of Justice, Anyone?
Let's call this what it really is: organized interference with federal immigration enforcement. While these activists claim they're providing "community support," they're actually helping criminals avoid arrest and deportation.
The effort isn't sanctioned by the city — yet — meaning these liberal activists are taking it upon themselves to become accomplices in harboring illegal aliens. How long before LA's radical city council officially endorses this madness?
This siren scheme represents everything wrong with sanctuary city policies. Instead of cooperating with federal law enforcement to remove people who have no legal right to be here, these activists are doubling down on lawlessness.
Trump's Promise in Action
What these LA liberals don't seem to understand is that President Trump won a decisive mandate to secure our borders and deport illegal aliens. Americans voted for exactly the kind of ICE operations these sirens are designed to thwart.
Every siren they install is another reminder of why Trump's deportation operation is so necessary. These activists aren't protecting "communities" — they're protecting lawbreakers at the expense of American citizens who deserve safe neighborhoods and respect for our immigration system.
The real question is: when will federal authorities start treating this organized obstruction as the crime it actually is?
