In a stunning example of how deep the rot goes in our immigration system, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection supervisor has been arrested for allegedly harboring an illegal immigrant who authorities say is his romantic partner.

Andres Wilkinson, 52, sits behind bars after being charged by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas with harboring an illegal alien. The irony is thick, Patriots – the very person tasked with protecting our borders was allegedly helping someone who had no legal right to be here stay in the country.

This is exactly the kind of corruption that President Trump's mass deportation agenda is designed to root out. How many other immigration officials have been compromised? How many others are putting their personal relationships above their duty to the American people?

The Swamp Runs Deep

While hardworking Americans struggle with the consequences of Biden's border crisis – the drugs, the crime, the strain on our communities – we had a CBP supervisor allegedly playing house with someone who shouldn't even be in our country. It's a slap in the face to every Border Patrol agent risking their lives to secure our southern border.

This arrest comes at a crucial time as the Trump-Vance administration ramps up its promise of the largest deportation operation in American history. With officials like Kristi Noem at Homeland Security and Tom Homan leading deportation efforts, there's finally accountability coming to agencies that have been compromised for far too long.

The American people deserve immigration officials who put America first, not their personal relationships with people breaking our laws.

How many more Andres Wilkinsons are out there? How many other immigration officials have been compromised by personal relationships, money, or ideology? President Trump's team needs to conduct a top-to-bottom review of everyone with access to our immigration system.

The deep state corruption didn't end when Trump took office – it's going to take time to drain this swamp completely. But cases like this show exactly why we need leaders who aren't afraid to hold government employees accountable, no matter how uncomfortable it makes the establishment.

How long was this going on? What other cases did he interfere with while he was supposed to be doing his job?

This is exactly what we've been saying! The corruption goes all the way up. How many more are there that we don't know about?

Probably dozens. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Personal relationships aside, he violated his oath and broke federal law. Actions have consequences.

Absolutely right. The law applies to everyone equally.

Finally some accountability! Throw the book at him.

We're paying his salary to protect the border and instead he's helping people break our laws. This makes my blood boil.

My brother works Border Patrol and he's always said there are bad apples in every bunch. The good agents hate this stuff more than anyone because it makes them all look bad.

Exactly! Most BP agents are heroes doing a thankless job.

This is why we need better vetting of government employees, especially those in critical positions like border security.

Unbelievable. This guy took an oath to protect our borders and he's literally doing the opposite.
