The Democrat Party's shameless flip-flopping on voter ID requirements has reached peak hypocrisy, and one media analyst isn't letting them get away with it.

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha delivered a brutal reality check to Democrats who are now scrambling to defend their opposition to the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, reminding Americans how these same politicians spent years shrieking that voter ID laws were tantamount to 'Jim Crow' voter suppression.

The Republican-controlled House passed the SAVE Act last week with overwhelming GOP support, requiring states to verify proof of citizenship before allowing voter registration. Only ONE Democrat had the courage to break ranks and support this common-sense legislation that most Americans already assume is law.

'Democrats have said before that voter ID laws are voter suppression,' Concha pointed out, exposing the left's consistent pattern of moving the goalposts whenever election integrity becomes a hot-button issue.

For years, Democrats and their media allies screamed bloody murder about basic voter verification measures. Remember when they compared Georgia's election reforms to 'Jim Crow 2.0'? Remember when they organized boycotts and called Republicans racists for simply wanting to ensure only eligible citizens vote?

The Left's Election Integrity Amnesia

Now that President Trump is back in the White House and Republicans control Congress, suddenly Democrats are suspiciously quiet about their previous 'voter suppression' talking points. Could it be because they know the SAVE Act is wildly popular with everyday Americans who believe – shocking concept – that only U.S. citizens should decide U.S. elections?

The SAVE Act would close loopholes that currently allow non-citizens to potentially register and vote in federal elections. It's the kind of election security measure that should have bipartisan support, but Democrats can't bring themselves to support it because it might interfere with their voter importation strategy.

Concha's criticism highlights a broader truth: Democrats only care about 'voter suppression' when it serves their political narrative. When Republicans push for election integrity, it's 'Jim Crow.' When Democrats want to block citizenship verification, suddenly they're concerned about 'voting access.'

Patriots, the mask is off. The same party that spent four years screaming about election security is now opposing the most basic safeguard imaginable. How's that for showing their true colors?

Finally someone is calling out this obvious hypocrisy! For years we've been told voter ID is racist, but now suddenly when it serves their political purposes it's perfectly fine. The American people see right through this flip-flopping.

Exactly right! They think we have short memories but we remember every single 'Jim Crow 2.0' speech they gave.

I've always needed an ID to buy alcohol, get on a plane, or even pick up a prescription at CVS. How is voting any different? This was never about voter suppression - it was about maintaining election integrity.
