A Columbia University academic is demanding that United States immigration policy conform to Islamic religious doctrine, in a stunning attack on American sovereignty that exposes the radical left's willingness to subordinate our Constitution to foreign religious law.
Mahmood Mamdani, a professor at Columbia, brazenly invoked Islamic teachings to define what he claims should be America's "civic obligation" while simultaneously working to delegitimize the lawful, constitutional authority of our elected government to control our own borders.
This is exactly the kind of globalist nonsense that President Trump's America First agenda was designed to crush. While our administration works tirelessly to secure the border and implement the mass deportation program that Americans voted for, academic elites are literally arguing that we should let Islamic doctrine dictate our immigration policies.
The Audacity Is Breathtaking
Think about the sheer arrogance here, Patriots. We have a foreign-born academic at an elite university telling Americans that our immigration system - the one governed by our Constitution and implemented by our democratically elected representatives - should instead follow Islamic religious law.
This isn't just wrong, it's dangerous. When academics start arguing that religious doctrine should override constitutional authority, they're attacking the very foundation of American self-governance. They're saying that unelected religious authorities should have more say over our borders than We the People.
"This represents everything wrong with the ivory tower elite who think they know better than the American people who overwhelmingly voted for President Trump's immigration agenda."
Thank God we have President Trump back in the White House, along with Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, to actually enforce our immigration laws instead of bowing to the demands of radical academics who want to impose foreign religious doctrine on our sovereign nation.
The American people didn't vote for Islamic law to govern our immigration system. We voted for the Constitution, secure borders, and the rule of law. Period.
How long will Americans tolerate these attacks on our sovereignty from the very institutions that are supposed to educate our children?
