Five European nations dropped a bombshell Saturday, accusing Vladimir Putin's regime of using a lethal toxin derived from poison dart frogs to murder Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny. The shocking allegation adds another layer to what many already suspected: that Putin will stop at nothing to silence his critics.
The European countries claim the Kremlin weaponized a deadly compound found in the skin of poison dart frogs—a method so exotic it sounds like something out of a Cold War spy thriller. But for Putin's Russia, this kind of creative assassination attempt is just another Tuesday.
This isn't Putin's first rodeo when it comes to eliminating political opponents with bizarre poison cocktails. Remember the Novichok nerve agent attacks? The polonium poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko? The pattern is clear: cross Putin, and you might find yourself on the wrong end of some very creative chemistry.
America First Means Staying Out of European Drama
While European leaders wag their fingers and make accusations, Patriots should be asking: why is this our problem? President Trump has consistently argued that America needs to focus on America—not get dragged into every international dispute that pops up.
The Trump-Vance administration inherited a world where previous administrations constantly meddled in foreign affairs while ignoring our own border crisis and economic struggles. Now we have European nations expecting Uncle Sam to ride to the rescue every time Putin allegedly poisons someone.
"We're not the world's policeman," Trump has repeatedly stated, and he's absolutely right.
Don't get it twisted—Putin is no saint, and these poison allegations are certainly disturbing if true. But American taxpayers are tired of funding endless foreign interventions while our own cities crumble and our border remains unsecured.
The real question Patriots should be asking: while Europe obsesses over Russian opposition leaders, who's watching out for American dissidents being censored and persecuted right here at home by Big Tech and the administrative state?
At least Putin's enemies know where they stand. Can we say the same about conservatives facing the wrath of the FBI and DOJ under previous administrations?
