Chuck Schumer just can't help himself. The failed Senate Minority Leader appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday and immediately reached for the Democrats' oldest, most pathetic trick in the book – calling Trump supporters racist.
In what can only be described as a desperate attempt to stay relevant, Schumer claimed the "MAGA right" doesn't want "people of color or poor people to vote." Really, Chuck? That's the best you've got?
This is the same tired playbook Democrats have been running for decades. Can't win on policy? Call your opponents racist. Can't defend your record? Scream about voter suppression. It's beyond stale at this point.
"The MAGA right doesn't want people of color or poor people to vote," Schumer told CNN's talking heads, apparently forgetting that Trump just won the largest share of minority voters for a Republican in decades.
Here's what Schumer conveniently ignores: President Trump's landslide 2024 victory came with HISTORIC gains among Black and Hispanic voters. The MAGA movement is more diverse than ever, with Americans of all backgrounds rejecting the Democrats' failed agenda of open borders, inflation, and woke extremism.
What Schumer and his Democrat cronies really can't stand is that Americans want SECURE elections with voter ID – you know, the same ID you need to buy alcohol, board a plane, or enter Schumer's own office building. But somehow requiring basic verification to vote is "racist"? Give us a break.
The truth is that Democrats are terrified. They've lost the working class, they're losing minorities, and now they're desperately clinging to power by dividing Americans along racial lines. It's disgusting, and frankly, it's un-American.
While Schumer wastes time on CNN spreading lies, President Trump is busy delivering results: securing the border, bringing jobs back to America, and restoring law and order. That's what real leadership looks like.
Chuck Schumer's racist fear-mongering is exactly why Democrats got crushed in 2024. When will they learn that Americans see right through their divisive games?
