Remember when the radical left bragged about their systematic takeover of American culture? In 2019, Vox co-founder Matthew Yglesias proudly proclaimed "The Great Awokening" was "revolutionizing American racial politics" and would "transform the future of the Democratic Party."
Well, mission accomplished – and the wreckage is everywhere.
Now, as President Trump works to restore sanity to our institutions, Americans are getting a clear picture of just how deep the woke cancer spread during the Biden years. From our military focusing on pronouns instead of preparedness, to our schools indoctrinating kids with critical race theory, to our corporations pushing DEI quotas over merit – the damage runs generations deep.
The Left's Victory Lap Turned Into America's Nightmare
Yglesias wasn't wrong about the "hidden shift" – it was a coordinated assault on everything that made America great. They weaponized race, turned our children against their own country, and convinced millions of Americans that merit was somehow racist.
The results? A generation of young Americans who hate their own nation. Cities torn apart by BLM riots that caused billions in damage. A military more concerned with diversity training than defending our borders. Schools that teach kids to judge each other by skin color instead of character.
"What we're seeing now is the aftermath of a deliberate campaign to divide Americans against each other," one Trump administration official told reporters. "It's going to take years to undo this damage."
The economic costs alone are staggering. Billions wasted on DEI consultants and sensitivity training. Qualified Americans passed over for jobs and promotions because of their race. Innovation stifled because "equity" mattered more than excellence.
Trump's Cleanup Operation
President Trump has already begun dismantling the woke machinery – ending DEI programs in federal agencies, removing critical race theory from military training, and restoring merit-based hiring. But the cultural damage runs deep.
How do you repair trust in institutions that spent years telling Americans their country was irredeemably racist? How do you heal communities divided by race-baiting politicians and activists?
The Great Awokening wasn't progress – it was destruction disguised as justice. And Patriots, we're going to be cleaning up this mess for decades to come.
