In yet another example of judicial activism undermining President Trump's America First agenda, an Obama-appointed federal judge in Maryland has blocked ICE from detaining a criminal migrant, allowing him to remain free while his case drags through the court system.
U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis ruled Tuesday that Kilmar Abrego Garcia cannot be taken back into immigration custody, claiming the Trump administration has shown an "inability to secure transfer to a third country for the reasonably foreseeable future."
The ruling represents a direct challenge to the Trump-Vance administration's flagship mass deportation operation, which has been working tirelessly to remove criminal aliens who have no business being on American soil in the first place.
Deep State Judges Strike Again
This decision perfectly illustrates the uphill battle President Trump faces in his second term. Despite winning a decisive mandate from the American people to secure our borders and remove illegal aliens, activist judges appointed by previous administrations continue to throw up roadblocks at every turn.
Judge Xinis, who was nominated by Barack Obama in 2014, has now given Garcia permission to travel to Tennessee for a hearing - essentially allowing a person who should be in ICE custody to freely move about the country.
Meanwhile, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and her ICE teams are working around the clock to implement the president's deportation orders, only to see their efforts sabotaged by unelected federal judges who apparently believe foreign nationals have more rights than American citizens.
When Will Justice Prevail?
This case highlights exactly why President Trump's criticism of activist judges resonates so strongly with everyday Americans. While families across the nation worry about their safety and security, federal courts are more concerned with protecting the "rights" of people who shouldn't even be here.
The question patriots must ask is simple: How long will we allow Obama and Biden-appointed judges to obstruct the will of the American people? President Trump was elected twice on a platform of immigration enforcement - when will that mandate be respected by our judicial system?
