An anti-ICE radical who violently attacked a federal law enforcement officer during last summer's leftist riots is now learning the hard way that actions have consequences.
Elpidio Reyna, 41, pleaded guilty Tuesday to assaulting a Customs and Border Protection officer with a deadly weapon after hurling rocks through a patrol car window during violent anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles County. The attack left the CBP officer injured and serves as yet another reminder of the left's unhinged hatred for immigration enforcement.
The guilty plea comes as President Trump's mass deportation operation is hitting full stride across the country, sending sanctuary city politicians and their radical supporters into absolute meltdown mode. While law-abiding Americans celebrate the return of law and order to our borders, leftist agitators like Reyna apparently thought they could intimidate federal officers with violence.
Think again, pal.
The Price of Anti-American Violence
Reyna admitted to one count of assault with a deadly or dangerous weapon resulting in bodily injury – a federal crime that carries serious prison time. The rock-throwing incident occurred during chaotic protests targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, where radical activists regularly clash with the brave men and women working to secure our homeland.
This conviction sends a crystal-clear message to other would-be rioters: attack federal law enforcement officers, and you'll face the full weight of American justice. Under the Trump-Vance administration, there's zero tolerance for this kind of anti-American thuggery.
While mainstream media outlets barely covered this story – shocking, we know – it perfectly illustrates the violent lengths to which the radical left will go to obstruct immigration enforcement. These aren't "peaceful protesters" exercising their First Amendment rights. These are dangerous criminals willing to cause bodily harm to federal officers doing their jobs.
As Trump's deportation machine continues removing criminal illegal aliens from American communities, expect more desperate acts of resistance from the open-borders crowd. The question is: how many more leftist rioters will learn the hard way that we're a nation of laws again?
