The chickens are coming home to roost for one anti-ICE extremist who thought he could attack federal officers with impunity. Elpidio Reyna, 41, pleaded guilty Tuesday to assaulting a federal officer after hurling rocks through a Customs and Border Protection vehicle window during last summer's violent protests in Los Angeles County.

Reyna admitted to one count of assault with a deadly or dangerous weapon resulting in bodily injury – a federal crime that carries serious prison time. The attack injured a CBP officer who was simply doing his job protecting America's borders, something these radical leftists apparently can't stand.

This case perfectly illustrates the violent hatred the open-borders crowd has for anyone trying to enforce our immigration laws. While President Trump's administration is working around the clock to secure our border and remove criminal illegal aliens, these extremists are literally throwing rocks at the brave men and women of ICE and CBP.

Trump's Deportation Agenda Moving Forward

The timing of this guilty plea couldn't be more perfect. As Trump's mass deportation operation ramps up under the leadership of 'Border Czar' Tom Homan and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the message is clear: attacking federal officers will have consequences.

For too long, anti-ICE radicals have operated with virtual impunity, blocking deportation vehicles, harassing officers, and even resorting to violence. The Biden years emboldened these extremists to believe they were above the law.

"Those days are over. We will prosecute anyone who attacks our federal officers to the fullest extent of the law," a source close to the administration told reporters.

Patriots across America are breathing a sigh of relief knowing that law and order is finally being restored. While Reyna faces potentially years behind bars, the CBP officer he injured was simply trying to protect our communities from criminal aliens.

This is what winning looks like, folks. When you attack federal officers enforcing our immigration laws, you're going to face the full weight of American justice. How many more anti-ICE extremists will think twice before assaulting our brave border agents?

Why do these anti-ICE activists think they're above the law? ICE agents are just doing their jobs protecting our borders and enforcing immigration policy.

What exactly was the sentence? The article mentions 'life-changing' but I want to know the specifics.

Usually these federal assault charges carry 5-20 years depending on severity. Hope they threw the book at them!

Finally! Actions have consequences. You attack federal officers, you face the music.

Exactly right. About time we see some accountability for these thugs.

This is what happens when the rule of law actually matters again. No more coddling violent rioters.

As someone who served this country, it disgusts me to see people attack the very officers trying to enforce our immigration laws. My brother-in-law works for ICE and the threats these agents face daily is unreal.

Let this be a warning to anyone else thinking about attacking federal officers. We support our law enforcement!
