Instead of condemning the obvious assault on law enforcement officers who were working in dangerous conditions to keep the city safe, Mamdani effectively sided with the snowball-throwing thugs. His response perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with the radical left's approach to law and order – always blame the police, never hold criminals accountable.
This is the same Zohran Mamdani who rode a wave of socialist rhetoric to victory in NYC's Democrat primary back in June 2025, promising to "reimagine" policing. Well, folks, here's his reimagining in action: letting criminals assault cops with impunity while the mayor provides cover.
Pattern of Anti-Police Extremism
Mamdani's latest disaster shouldn't surprise anyone who's been paying attention. This is a politician who built his career on demonizing law enforcement and pushing the same failed progressive policies that turned cities like San Francisco and Portland into crime-ridden hellscapes.
While hardworking NYPD officers were out there clearing streets and helping stranded motorists during the snowstorm, they had to dodge projectiles from lowlifes who apparently have nothing better to do than attack the thin blue line protecting civilization from chaos.
"You know, Zohran Mamdani might not be able to shovel snow, but one thing he knows how to shovel and shovel well is BS," one observer noted, perfectly capturing the mayor's incompetent response.
