The sheer arrogance of the radical left reached new heights last week when Rep. Al Green (D-TX) was booted from President Trump's State of the Union address for the second time running – then had the unmitigated gall to compare himself to Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks.

Green was forcibly removed from the House chamber after holding up a sign reading "BLACK PEOPLE AREN'T APES!" in what he claimed was a protest against a Trump social media video. This marks the second consecutive year the Texas Democrat has been ejected from a Trump address for his childish antics.

But here's where it gets truly outrageous, folks. After being escorted out like the disruptive heckler he is, Green actually had the nerve to invoke the names of genuine civil rights heroes to justify his theatrical tantrum.

"Sometimes you have to stand up for what's right, just like Dr. King and Rosa Parks did," Green reportedly told reporters after his removal. "They were called troublemakers too."

"This is exactly the kind of delusional grandstanding that makes everyday Americans sick of Washington politicians," said one GOP House member who witnessed the disruption.

Let's be crystal clear here – there is absolutely no comparison between Green's attention-seeking stunts and the courageous actions of actual civil rights pioneers who faced real persecution and danger. MLK and Rosa Parks stood up against genuine injustice and systemic oppression. Green is just another Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer who can't handle losing.

The fact that Green chose to disrupt the State of the Union – a solemn constitutional tradition where Americans expect their representatives to show basic decorum – speaks volumes about the Democrats' complete lack of respect for our institutions.

President Trump, meanwhile, continued his address without missing a beat, delivering a powerful vision for America's future while Green was being shown the door. That's the difference between a real leader and a political theater performer.

How many more times will Democrats embarrass themselves and disrespect the American people before they learn that their tantrums only make Trump stronger?

This is exactly why we can't have productive political dialogue anymore. Instead of respectful disagreement, they resort to theatrics and then claim victimhood.

Well said! It's all about the headlines and soundbites for them.

I attended a town hall last year where a local rep pulled similar antics. These people think any pushback against their behavior makes them martyrs. It's embarrassing to watch.

Does anyone know which specific representative this was? I want to see if my tax dollars are funding this kind of childish behavior in Congress.

The article mentions it but doesn't give the full name. Typical media leaving out key details.

Rosa Parks showed dignity and courage in the face of real injustice. This clown showed neither.

The absolute AUDACITY of this guy! Comparing yourself to civil rights heroes just because you got removed for disrupting a speech? These Democrats have completely lost touch with reality.

Completely agree. MLK and Rosa Parks fought real oppression, not partisan grandstanding.

What exactly did he think would happen when he started yelling during the President's speech? There are consequences for disruptive behavior - that's called basic civility.

This is what happens when politicians prioritize social media moments over actual governance. They've turned serious institutions into reality TV shows.
