DISGRACE: NYPD Officers ATTACKED With Ice Projectiles While Mayor Mamdani JOKES About It

American police officers were forced to retreat from their own citizens in Washington Square Park this week after being brutally pelted with ice-packed snowballs—and New York City's radical leftist mayor responded with a joke.

The footage is difficult to watch. NYPD officers—women included—standing in blizzard conditions doing their jobs when a mob began launching frozen projectiles directly at their faces and heads. Cowards ran up behind officers and smashed chunks of ice into the backs of their skulls. Bystanders cheered. Others filmed and laughed. The officers did nothing. They said nothing. And then they retreated.

Let that sink in, Patriots. American law enforcement forced to flee from the very citizens they swore to protect.

Mayor's Response: A Slap in the Face

Nearly twenty-four hours after the attack, Mayor Zohran Mamdani finally crawled out of hiding to issue what can only be described as a disgrace wrapped in a punchline. His official statement referred to the attackers as "kids throwing snowballs" and then quipped that "if anyone's catching a snowball, it's me."

That was it. No condemnation. No arrests announced. No show of support for the officers who were injured during the ambush.

The Republican delegation on the New York City Council fired off a formal letter demanding answers, calling the incident an ambush and expressing outrage at the deafening silence from city leadership. Multiple officers sustained injuries. And for what? The starting salary for NYPD is roughly $60,000 a year in one of the most expensive cities on earth.

This is the thanks they receive.

'Walk Off the Job'

Dennis Michael Lynch, whose entire family served in law enforcement going back to his grandfather, didn't mince words in his blistering response.

"You are burying more than your pride. You're taking your dignity and you're pissing on your own dignity. Walk off that job. Let New York City watch what it's like without having cops. Move to Florida. We need cops. We'll take you."

His message resonated with millions who watched the viral footage and felt the same boiling rage. The video spread across every platform within hours, and the reaction split down a clean line: Conservatives were livid. Leftists celebrated.

And the mayor of New York City made a joke.

The Collapse of Civil Society

This isn't about snowballs, folks. This is about testing boundaries—seeing how far the mob can push before someone pushes back. Every silent mayor, every laughing bystander, every chunk of ice that connects with an officer's face is another step toward complete lawlessness.

And it's working perfectly.

When the person at the top refuses to stand behind the men and women who risk their lives every shift, the predators and cowards fill that vacuum. This is exactly how cities fall. This is exactly what happens when radical leftists are handed the keys to power.

These officers deserve better than $60,000 a year to serve as human targets for entitled thugs. They deserve leadership that stands behind them—not one that hides from tough conversations and cracks jokes at their expense. They deserve a city that respects the badge, not one that celebrates attacks on it.

The thin blue line is getting thinner every single day, and men like Mamdani are holding the scissors.

The question every American needs to ask themselves is simple: Do you stand with the officers who risk everything to keep us safe, or do you stand with the ice throwers and their silent enablers?

Under President Trump's leadership, we've seen a renewed commitment to backing the blue at the federal level. But in Democrat-controlled cities like New York, the war on law enforcement rages on—one frozen projectile at a time.
