House Democrats are showing just how detached from reality they've become, claiming that Hillary Clinton's long-overdue testimony somehow sets a "precedent" for hauling President Donald Trump in for depositions. These people never learn, do they?
After years of stonewalling and legal gymnastics, Crooked Hillary finally dragged herself before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday to answer questions about her shady dealings. But instead of focusing on getting real answers from the woman who deleted 33,000 emails and ran an illegal private server while Secretary of State, Democrats are already plotting their next attack on Trump.
The audacity is breathtaking. Here's a woman who should have been in prison years ago for compromising national security, and Democrats want to use her testimony as a blueprint for going after the man who's actually draining the swamp and putting America First.
Different Rules for Different People
What these radical Democrats refuse to acknowledge is the fundamental difference between their situations. Hillary Clinton was a private citizen when she was finally forced to testify about her crimes and corruption. President Trump, on the other hand, is the sitting Commander-in-Chief with actual work to do – like securing our border, boosting our economy, and making America great again.
The Constitution doesn't give House Democrats the right to treat the presidency like their personal punching bag. Executive privilege exists for a reason, and Trump has every legal right to protect the office from these endless witch hunts.
"They're so desperate to take down Trump that they'll grasp at any straw, even one as flimsy as Hillary's testimony," one Republican aide told reporters.
This is the same crowd that spent four years during Trump's first term launching one bogus investigation after another – Russia collusion hoax, Ukraine phone call hysteria, you name it. Now they're back for round two, and they think Hillary Clinton gives them cover?
Patriots need to see this for what it is: another desperate attempt by the Deep State and their Democratic allies to undermine the will of the American people. We voted for Trump to clean house, not to waste time playing games with the same swamp creatures who got us into this mess.
Will Republicans stand strong and protect our President from this latest fishing expedition, or will they fold like cheap suits when the pressure mounts?
