JUSTICE SERVED: Trump Admin BLOCKS Venezuela From Paying Drug Lord Maduro's Legal Defense

In a massive win for justice and the rule of law, President Trump's Treasury Department has blocked Venezuela's corrupt socialist government from bankrolling drug lord Nicolás Maduro's legal defense as he faces federal drug trafficking charges in Manhattan court.

According to a letter from Maduro's lawyer Barry Pollack to the federal judge, the Treasury Department initially authorized Venezuela to pay for the dictator's defense but has now pulled that permission - leaving the narco-terrorist scrambling to fund his own legal battles.

This is exactly what America First looks like in action, folks. While the Biden regime spent four years coddling dictators and appeasing America's enemies, President Trump is making it crystal clear that criminal thugs like Maduro won't get a free ride on the American taxpayer's dime.

No More Candy from Uncle Sam

Maduro faces sweeping federal charges for running a massive drug trafficking operation that has flooded American communities with deadly narcotics. The socialist strongman has used Venezuela's oil wealth to fund his criminal enterprise while his people starve under his brutal dictatorship.

But now that Trump is back in the White House, the days of America enabling foreign criminals are over. By blocking these payments, the Treasury Department is sending a message that resonates far beyond Caracas - America will no longer subsidize the legal defenses of narco-terrorists who poison our communities.

"This is what happens when you have a President who actually puts America First instead of America Last," said one administration source familiar with the decision.

The move represents a stark contrast to the Biden administration's weak-kneed approach to Latin American dictators. While Biden officials spent years trying to "engage" with Maduro's regime, Trump understands that you don't negotiate with drug dealers - you put them behind bars.

This Treasury action shows that every tool of American power is being deployed to protect our homeland from foreign threats. When criminal dictators can't even afford their own lawyers, it sends a powerful message to every two-bit strongman thinking about targeting America.

How many more victories like this will it take before the mainstream media admits Trump's tough approach actually works?

This is exactly why we need strong leadership. Maduro has destroyed Venezuela and turned it into a narco-state while millions flee to our border.

My cousin's family fled Venezuela three years ago and the stories they tell about Maduro's regime are horrifying. He shouldn't get a penny of help from anyone, especially not through our banking system.

FINALLY! About time we stopped letting these corrupt dictators use our financial system to fund their criminal enterprises. Trump's team is doing what needed to be done years ago.

Exactly! Obama and Biden would've probably helped Maduro pay his lawyers.

Can someone explain how Venezuela was even able to access funds for this in the first place? Shouldn't all their assets be frozen?

I served in Colombia in the 90s and saw firsthand what drug cartels do to countries. Maduro is no different than Pablo Escobar, just with a government title.

Thank you for your service! You're absolutely right about the cartel connection.

This shows the difference between America First policies and the globalist approach. We're finally putting our interests and security first instead of enabling foreign criminals.
