California Governor Gavin Newsom launched another unhinged attack on Republicans Wednesday, claiming the GOP has been "countenancing racism in their party for decades" during an appearance on MSNBC's "The Briefing."
The radical Democrat governor's inflammatory rhetoric comes as his own state suffers under catastrophic wildfires, skyrocketing crime rates, and a homelessness crisis that has turned once-beautiful California cities into third-world hellscapes.
Rather than focus on fixing the mess he's created in the Golden State, Newsom chose to spread divisive lies about the party that just delivered President Trump a decisive victory and unified Republican control of Washington.
Projection From a Failing Governor
Newsom's desperate attack reeks of projection from a politician whose own party has a long history of actual racism – from founding the KKK to opposing civil rights legislation to implementing policies that have devastated minority communities for generations.
Meanwhile, President Trump's Republican Party just assembled the most diverse cabinet in GOP history, with Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, and continues attracting record numbers of Hispanic, Black, and Asian-American voters who are fed up with Democrat failures.
"This is classic Democrat desperation – when your policies fail spectacularly, just scream 'racism' and hope nobody notices the burning cities and empty promises," said one GOP strategist.
While Newsom was busy race-baiting on cable news, President Trump's administration continues delivering real results for ALL Americans – securing the border, bringing back American jobs, and restoring law and order to cities plagued by Democrat-enabled chaos.
California's Decline Under Democrat Rule
Newsom's inflammatory rhetoric can't hide the reality of California's decline under his leadership. Businesses are fleeing the state in record numbers, middle-class families can't afford housing, and drug-addicted homeless encampments have taken over major cities.
Patriots across America see right through these desperate smear tactics. The more Democrats like Newsom resort to playing the race card, the more they expose themselves as bankrupt of real ideas and solutions.
Isn't it time for failed Democrat governors to stop pointing fingers and start taking responsibility for the disasters they've created?
