Another preventable crime has shocked Americans as local authorities in Pennsylvania released an illegal immigrant accused of rape—despite the fact he was training to become a corrections officer and ICE had placed a detainer on him.
Ibrahim George Kallon, an illegal alien from Sierra Leone, has been charged with rape after Pennsylvania authorities chose to release him rather than honor Immigration and Customs Enforcement's detainer request. This is exactly the kind of sanctuary policy madness that President Trump promised to end during his campaign.
According to ICE, Kallon had been living in the United States illegally since 2024 when his visitor visa expired. But instead of being deported, he somehow managed to enter training to become a corrections officer—a position that would have given him authority over American citizens.
Think about that for a moment, Patriots. While hardworking Americans struggle to find good jobs, an illegal immigrant was being fast-tracked into a law enforcement position. How does someone living here illegally even get approved for corrections officer training?
Sanctuary Cities Enable Predators
This case perfectly illustrates why Trump's mass deportation agenda is so critical. When local authorities refuse to cooperate with ICE and ignore federal detainers, they're essentially rolling out the red carpet for criminals to prey on innocent Americans.
The victim in this case deserved protection from her own government. Instead, she got failed policies that prioritized the comfort of an illegal immigrant over public safety.
"Every crime committed by someone who should have been deported is a crime that could have been prevented," Trump has repeatedly stated, and cases like this prove him absolutely right.
Under the Trump-Vance Administration's new enforcement priorities, this kind of catch-and-release insanity should become a thing of the past. But it will require local cooperation and an end to the sanctuary city policies that have turned American communities into hunting grounds for predators.
How many more Americans have to suffer before every jurisdiction in this country starts putting citizens first?
