House Democrat Rep. Janelle Bynum showed her true colors last week when she lashed out at President Trump's patriotic State of the Union challenge, calling it "racist" for the crime of asking Congress to stand up for American citizens.
During Trump's powerful SOTU address, the President issued a simple challenge to lawmakers: stand up if you believe American citizens should be prioritized over illegal immigrants. While patriotic Republicans rose to their feet with pride, Bynum and her fellow Democrats sat on their hands like petulant children.
But Bynum didn't stop there. The Oregon freshman went full unhinged, telling reporters that Trump's America First message made her "uncomfortable" and branding it as "racist."
"That was uncomfortable. The idea that prioritizing American citizens is somehow racist shows you exactly where the Democrat Party's priorities lie - and it's not with the American people."
This is the same radical mindset that gave us the Biden border crisis, sanctuary cities protecting criminal aliens, and billions in taxpayer dollars flowing to illegal immigrants while American veterans sleep on the streets.
Bynum's outburst reveals the Left's true agenda: they've become so radicalized that they literally consider putting Americans first to be a form of bigotry. This is why they lost so badly in 2024, and why vulnerable Democrats like Bynum are already panicking about 2026.
America First Isn't Racist - It's Common Sense
President Trump's challenge was simple patriotism. Every sovereign nation on Earth prioritizes its own citizens. That's not racism - that's basic governance. But Democrats have become so invested in open borders and globalist policies that they've forgotten who they're supposed to represent.
Bynum's district better pay attention. When your representative thinks it's "racist" to put Americans first, maybe it's time to find someone who actually believes in America.
The question patriotic Americans should be asking: How many more Democrats will expose themselves as anti-American in their desperate attempts to attack President Trump's successful agenda?
