Virginia Democrats are showing their true colors, and it's ugly. After gaining complete control of Richmond in November's elections, radical lawmakers are wasting no time launching an all-out assault on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Virginians—but new polling shows Patriots aren't buying what these freedom-hating politicians are selling.

Without former Governor Glenn Youngkin's protective vetoes standing in their way, Democrats are ramming through a laundry list of unconstitutional restrictions that would make California gun-grabbers proud. We're talking about banning so-called "assault firearms" and standard-capacity magazines over 10 rounds, imposing Soviet-style five-day waiting periods, and slapping an outrageous 11% tax on firearms—because apparently exercising your constitutional rights should come with a penalty.

But here's the thing these Richmond radicals don't want you to know: actual Virginians hate this anti-American agenda. The new polling data exposes the massive disconnect between what Democratic politicians want and what the people they claim to represent actually believe.

The Deep State's Gun-Grabbing Playbook

This is straight out of the globalist playbook, folks. First, they flood states with out-of-state dark money. Then they buy elections with help from Big Tech censorship. Finally, they ignore the will of the people and ram through their tyrannical wishlist while they have the power.

These aren't "common sense" gun laws—they're deliberate attacks on the constitutional rights of millions of Virginia families. When law-abiding citizens can't afford an 11% government tax just to exercise their Second Amendment rights, that's not safety legislation, that's economic warfare against Patriots.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Notice it says "shall not be infringed," not "shall be heavily taxed and regulated by power-hungry politicians."

The question every Virginia Patriot needs to ask is this: Will you stand up and fight back against this unconstitutional power grab, or will you let Richmond Democrats turn the birthplace of liberty into another California-style police state?

The Second Amendment isn't about hunting, it's about protection from tyranny. Our founders would be rolling in their graves seeing what Democrats are trying to do. Every poll I've seen shows most Americans support our gun rights when you ask the questions honestly.

Exactly! They always word these polls to get the results they want in the mainstream media.

SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED means exactly that. How is this even up for debate in 2024?

Thank God! I was worried about moving my family out of state if these gun grabbers got their way.

I've been hunting in Virginia for 40 years and teaching my grandkids gun safety. These Democrat politicians want to criminalize law-abiding citizens while criminals run wild in our cities.

Same here brother. Been in my family for generations and we've never had a single incident.

This is encouraging but we can't get complacent. What's the sample size and margin of error on this poll?

As a veteran who swore an oath to defend the Constitution, this gives me hope that Virginia remembers what America stands for.

Finally some good news! Virginia has been turning blue for too long, but this shows real Virginians still believe in our constitutional rights.

Absolutely right. Northern Virginia doesn't represent the whole state!
