House conservatives are turning up the heat on Speaker Mike Johnson, demanding he take the gloves off against Senate Republicans who are reportedly trying to sabotage the SAVE America Act – a critical piece of President Trump's second-term agenda.

Sources close to the Freedom Caucus reveal growing frustration with what they see as typical Senate RINO resistance to the America First movement. While Trump won a decisive mandate from the American people, it appears some establishment Republicans in the upper chamber didn't get the memo.

The SAVE Act, which aims to secure American elections and prevent non-citizen voting, should be a no-brainer for any Republican worth their salt. Yet here we are, watching the same old swamp games play out while Patriots demand action.

Same Old Senate, Same Old Problems

"We didn't send President Trump back to Washington to play patty-cake with Senate Republicans who are more concerned about cocktail parties than conservative principles," one House Republican told reporters on condition of anonymity. "Speaker Johnson needs to understand – we're not backing down."

This internal GOP fight highlights the ongoing tension between Trump's MAGA base and the establishment wing that never truly embraced the America First agenda. While Trump, Vance, and their team are working around the clock to deliver on campaign promises, Senate Republicans seem content to return to business as usual.

"The American people voted for change, not compromise with the deep state and its enablers," said another House conservative. "We're going to hold everyone accountable – including members of our own party."

Johnson, who has generally been supportive of Trump's agenda, now faces a critical test of his leadership. Will he stand with the conservative base that put Republicans back in power, or will he cave to Senate pressure and water down meaningful reform?

The SAVE Act represents everything Americans voted for – election integrity, constitutional governance, and an end to the administrative state's overreach. If Republicans can't even pass this basic reform with control of both chambers, what hope do Patriots have for the bigger battles ahead?

The clock is ticking, and the base is watching. Will Johnson rise to the occasion, or will this be another example of Republican leadership snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?

About time the Freedom Caucus is holding leadership accountable! Can someone explain what specific provisions of the SAVE Act the Senate is trying to water down?

From what I understand, they want to remove the documentary proof requirement and make it optional rather than mandatory.

Finally! Johnson needs to show some backbone and stand up to these establishment Republicans who keep caving to the Democrats. The SAVE Act is common sense - you should have to prove citizenship to vote in federal elections.

Agreed 100%. It's mind-blowing that this is even controversial. Every other country requires proof of citizenship to vote.

YES! This is exactly why we voted for a Republican majority.

I've been saying this for years - we need voter ID everywhere. Here in Texas we require ID to vote and it works just fine. What are the RINOs so afraid of?
