The cold-blooded killer who gunned down two innocent Israeli Embassy staffers outside the Capital Jewish Museum had the audacity to plead not guilty to terrorism charges Tuesday, as prosecutors prepare to seek the death penalty for what can only be described as an act of anti-Semitic terror.

Elias Rodriguez, 31, of Chicago, stood before Obama-appointed Judge Randolph Moss and denied responsibility for the brutal execution-style murders that shocked the Jewish community and sent ripples of fear through Washington's diplomatic corps.

The newly added terrorism charges carry the ultimate penalty – death – which this monster richly deserves for his heinous crimes against our strongest ally in the Middle East. Rodriguez's cowardly attack targeted innocent embassy workers simply because they represented the Jewish state of Israel.

Another Anti-Semitic Attack Under Biden's Watch

This horrific terrorist attack occurred during the final days of the disastrous Biden administration, which consistently failed to protect Jewish Americans and Israeli diplomats from the rising tide of anti-Semitism that exploded across America following Hamas's October 7th massacre.

While Biden was busy appeasing the radical anti-Israel wing of his party and allowing pro-Hamas protests to rage unchecked on college campuses, terrorists like Rodriguez felt emboldened to carry out deadly attacks against Jewish targets on American soil.

The blood of these innocent Israeli diplomats is on the hands of every politician who legitimized anti-Israel hatred and allowed it to fester in our communities.

Thankfully, President Trump is back in the White House with a clear message: America stands with Israel, and terrorists who target our allies will face the full force of American justice. Under Trump's leadership, we can expect swift prosecution and, hopefully, the death penalty for this savage killer.

The Jewish community deserves better than empty platitudes from failed politicians. They deserve a president who will crush anti-Semitism wherever it rears its ugly head – and that's exactly what they have in Donald Trump.

Will Rodriguez finally face justice for his terrorist crimes, or will liberal judges find another way to coddle America's enemies?

Of course he pleads not guilty - they never take responsibility for their heinous acts. The death penalty is exactly what justice demands for targeting innocent embassy workers.

Absolutely right. These cowards think they can hide behind our legal system after committing acts of terror.

I served two tours in the Middle East and saw firsthand how these terrorists operate. They target civilians and diplomats because they're too weak to face actual military forces. Justice needs to be swift here.

Will this case actually move forward quickly or will it drag on for years while taxpayers foot the bill? We need expedited trials for clear-cut terrorism cases like this.

My heart goes out to the families of those embassy workers. They were just doing their jobs, serving their country abroad, and this monster took their lives for what?

Exactly - innocent people trying to maintain diplomatic relations. This is why we need strong security measures.
