The Texas Republican establishment just got a massive wake-up call. Incumbent Senator John Cornyn, long considered a reliable RINO who's cozy with the Washington swamp, managed only 43.2% of the vote against America First champion Ken Paxton's impressive 40.3% showing, forcing a May 26 runoff that has establishment Republicans panicking.

With over 65% of votes counted according to Decision Desk HQ, Paxton's near-upset of the entrenched incumbent sends a crystal clear message: Texas Republicans are fed up with senators who talk conservative at home but cave to the deep state in Washington.

CBS Austin captured the establishment's horror, noting that "Texas Republicans are headed for another three months of campaigning and mudslinging" - translation: three more months of Cornyn desperately trying to convince voters he's not the swamp creature his voting record proves him to be.

"Cornyn, Paxton head to runoff as Texas Republicans break on MAGA," USA Today Opinion admitted, finally acknowledging what patriots have known all along - there's a war happening for the soul of the Republican Party.

Representative Wesley Hunt finished a distant third with 12.9%, but his voters now hold the keys to the runoff. The question is: will they choose the establishment hack who's spent decades enriching himself in Washington, or the fighter who's taken on Big Tech, defended election integrity, and stood with President Trump when it mattered most?

Paxton's near-victory despite being massively outspent by Cornyn's donor class proves that Texas Republicans want fighters, not go-along-to-get-along politicians who fold faster than a lawn chair when Chuck Schumer applies pressure.

The runoff gives conservatives three more months to educate voters about Cornyn's record of betrayal - from his gun control compromises to his support for endless foreign wars while Texas faces an invasion at our southern border.

Will Texas Republicans choose the swamp or send a true America First warrior to the Senate? The May runoff can't come fast enough.

This gives me so much hope for our state and country. Real conservatives are finally standing up and primarying these establishment Republicans who have sold us out.

Let's gooo! Now we need to make sure everyone gets out and votes in the runoff.

I voted for Paxton and convinced my whole family to do the same. Cornyn voted with Democrats too many times - we remember the gun control bill he helped pass.

That gun bill was the last straw for me too. Cornyn betrayed Texas gun owners.

Same here! My whole neighborhood is fed up with RINOs like Cornyn.

FINALLY! Cornyn has been a swamp creature for way too long. Paxton actually fights for conservative values instead of just talking about them.

Exactly! We need fighters, not politicians who cave to the establishment every time.

About time! I've been saying for years that Cornyn is a RINO who doesn't represent Texas values. The establishment better take notice.

The GOP establishment is going to be so triggered by this news!

Wait, is this for real? I thought Cornyn was safe in his seat.

Paxton has been fighting the deep state for years as AG. He's exactly what we need in the Senate to support Trump's agenda.
