Los Angeles officials just handed the Trump administration a massive gift – concrete proof of how widespread illegal alien abuse of federal housing programs really is. In their desperate attempt to oppose President Trump's new crackdown on housing fraud, LA leaders accidentally exposed the shocking scale of the problem they've been hiding.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced new enforcement measures to ensure federally funded housing goes to actual American citizens, not illegal aliens gaming the system through so-called "mixed-status families." Instead of celebrating this America First policy, LA officials rushed to the streets in protest – and revealed far more than they intended.
The Accidental Admission
CBS Los Angeles reported on the demonstration, tweeting: "Los Angeles leaders bring attention to HUD proposal to end housing assistance for mixed immigration status households." The very fact that LA officials are this panicked tells you everything you need to know about how many illegals have been stealing housing meant for American families.
"Your neighbor in public housing is not your enemy. The family using Section 8 is not your enemy. Mixed-status families" are not the problem, protesters claimed.
But here's the thing, Patriots – when you're in the country illegally, you ARE breaking the law. And when you're taking federally funded housing away from legal American citizens who desperately need it, you ARE part of the problem.
America First Housing Policy
President Trump's HUD is simply enforcing what should have been obvious all along: American taxpayer-funded programs should serve Americans first. The fact that LA officials are this outraged reveals they've been running a sanctuary city housing scam for years, using federal dollars to house illegal aliens while American veterans and families remain homeless on the streets.
This protest wasn't about compassion – it was about covering up years of housing fraud that's been happening right under our noses. How many American citizens have been denied housing because illegals were gaming the system through anchor babies and fraudulent applications?
The Trump administration's crackdown is long overdue. It's time to put America First in housing policy, just like everything else. Why should hardworking American taxpayers subsidize housing for people who shouldn't even be in the country?
