The swamp showed its true colors yesterday when a former American soldier was physically removed from the United States Congress after daring to object to America entering yet another foreign war - this time against Iran.
The veteran repeatedly declared that America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel, striking at the heart of the military-industrial complex's latest push for overseas entanglement. But instead of listening to this voice of reason, Congress chose brute force over debate.
Social media erupted with outrage over the incident. One user posted: "A former American soldier was forcibly removed from a session of the United States Congress after objecting to the United States entering a war against Iran, as he kept repeating that America does not want to send its sons and daughters to war for Israel."
The confrontation apparently involved Senator Sheehy, who critics are blasting for his role in the removal. "Mr. Sheehy is a disgrace to the flag of this country and to whatever little dignity remains in Congress," one social media user fired back. "He should be removed from the Senate, arrested, and tried for assault. He serves not the US, but AIPAC."
This is exactly the kind of theater that Americans are sick and tired of. We elected President Trump to END the endless wars, not start new ones. Yet here we have Congress literally throwing out veterans who dare to question the war machine's appetite for blood and treasure.
When Will Congress Listen to WE THE PEOPLE?
The frustration is boiling over across the country. Patriots are demanding accountability from Speaker Johnson and the Republican leadership who seem more interested in foreign conflicts than securing our own border.
"Speaker Johnson you are a failure for not having her removed from Congress - you need to resign TODAY- maybe you will stop looking like some smarmy kissass liar," another fed-up American posted, referencing broader concerns about weak Republican leadership.
This veteran put his life on the line for America - not for foreign interests. The least Congress could do is hear him out instead of having him dragged away like some kind of criminal. But that's the swamp for you - always ready to silence the voices that matter most.
How many more of our brave servicemen and women have to speak out before Congress finally listens?
