Speaking on Bloomberg's "Balance of Power," the former DNC chair - who you'll remember was ousted in disgrace over rigging the 2016 primary against Bernie Sanders - had the audacity to express worry about terrorism threats while her own party holds border security funding hostage for their woke agenda.
This is the same woman who spent years attacking President Trump's immigration enforcement as "cruel" and "inhumane." Now she's suddenly concerned about terrorism? Give us a break.
Democrats Playing Politics With American Lives
Wasserman Schultz's comments expose the left's sick game: create a crisis, warn about the dangers, then demand concessions to fix the problem they created. It's political extortion using American safety as leverage.
While President Trump's administration works tirelessly to secure our borders and implement the mass deportation mandate given by voters, Democrats are literally shutting down the Department of Homeland Security unless they get their way on weakening ICE operations.
"Multiple asks from Democrats on ICE need to be agreed to so we can reopen [DHS]," Wasserman Schultz demanded, according to reports.
Translation: We'll only protect Americans from terrorists if you let us tie the hands of our immigration enforcement officers.
