A horrifying terror attack unfolded in broad daylight on Manhattan's Upper East Side Saturday when suspects hurled homemade explosive devices packed with nuts, bolts, and screws toward crowds of people near Gracie Mansion, the mayor's residence.
The bombs were thrown during "dueling protests" - which is liberal media speak for when their pet activist groups clash with normal Americans who've had enough of the chaos. NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed investigators are treating this as exactly what it is: an attempt to maim and terrorize innocent people with weapons designed to cause maximum carnage.
Think about this, Patriots. These weren't firecrackers or smoke bombs. These were devices specifically engineered with metal shrapnel - nuts, bolts, and screws - the same deadly components used by Islamic terrorists in attacks across Europe. The intent was clear: to shred human flesh and spread terror in America's largest city.
Democrat Mayors, Democrat Problems
Of course, this happened in New York City, where Democrat leadership has turned once-safe streets into a playground for criminals and extremists. While law-abiding citizens are prosecuted for defending themselves, actual bomb-throwers get the kid-glove treatment from both law enforcement and the media.
"Dueling protests" - really? When conservatives gather peacefully, the media calls us "violent extremists." But when actual explosives get hurled at crowds in broad daylight, it's just a "protest" gone wrong.
Where's the wall-to-wall media coverage? Where are the congressional hearings? Where's the FBI task force? If Trump supporters had thrown bombs packed with shrapnel, it would be the lead story for months and Democrats would be demanding a new January 6th committee.
Thank God President Trump is back in the White House with a real Attorney General in Pam Bondi who won't play political favorites. It's time to treat domestic terrorists like the criminals they are - regardless of their political affiliation.
How many more Americans have to be targeted with literal bombs before we admit that the real threat to our democracy isn't coming from MAGA rallies?
