The woke left's obsession with making every white American apologize for slavery just got a much-needed reality check from an Irish-American who's had enough of the guilt trip.

Writing for PJ Media, the author delivers a powerful reminder that flies in the face of the radical left's narrative: not all white Americans descended from slave owners. In fact, many came from families that were themselves oppressed and persecuted.

"I was a typical Irish-Catholic kid from a large, extended Irish-Catholic family, living near each other in a predominantly Irish-Catholic neighborhood centered around a church called St. Lawrence O'Toole," the writer explains, painting a picture that millions of Americans can relate to.

This is exactly the kind of pushback we need against the Democrats' divisive race-baiting agenda. For too long, the left has tried to paint every white American with the same brush, demanding collective guilt for historical injustices that many families had absolutely nothing to do with.

"The Irish were subjected to centuries of brutal oppression by the British, forced into indentured servitude, and faced massive discrimination when they arrived in America."

Let's not forget the historical facts the woke mob conveniently ignores: Irish immigrants faced intense discrimination in America, with "No Irish Need Apply" signs common in the 19th century. They were often forced into dangerous, low-paying jobs and lived in poverty-stricken neighborhoods.

This brave Irish-American is speaking truth to the radical left's power structure that wants to divide Americans based on race and guilt. Under President Trump's second term, more Americans are finding the courage to reject this divisive narrative and embrace the truth about our complex history.

The MAGA movement has always celebrated the diverse immigrant stories that built America - the legal way. Irish, Italian, Polish, German, and countless other families came here seeking opportunity, not to perpetuate oppression.

It's time for every American to stand up and reject the left's attempts to make us apologize for crimes we never committed. Our ancestors' stories matter too, and we won't be silenced by woke bullies pushing their divisive agenda.

About time someone stood up to this nonsense! We can't keep letting the woke mob guilt trip entire generations for things they never did.

Does anyone know where I can watch the full video of this? Would love to share it with my family who came here from Ireland in the 1800s and faced their own struggles.

This is brilliant. The Irish were literally called 'white slaves' and treated horribly, but you don't see us demanding handouts centuries later.

FINALLY someone with the backbone to say what we've all been thinking! My great-grandfather came here from Poland with nothing but the clothes on his back and worked in coal mines for 12 hours a day. Nobody owes anybody anything for what happened generations ago.

Exactly right! My Italian grandparents faced discrimination too but they didn't demand reparations, they just worked harder.

Why is it that only certain groups get to claim victim status? My German ancestors faced persecution too but we moved on and built successful lives through hard work and determination.

Because victimhood has become a profitable industry. Some people would rather complain than take responsibility for their own lives.
