Fort Hood, the Texas military base that witnessed one of the deadliest Islamic terror attacks on American soil since 9/11, is now hosting Ramadan celebrations - and patriots across the nation are asking how this level of tone-deaf virtue signaling is even possible.
On November 5, 2009, U.S. Army Major Nidal Hasan opened fire on his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, screaming "Allahu Akbar" as he murdered 13 Americans and wounded more than 30 others. The Obama administration shamefully classified this Islamic terror attack as mere "workplace violence," refusing to acknowledge the religious extremism that motivated Hasan's deadly rampage.
Now, less than two decades later, the Fort Hood Religious Support Office and Fort Hood Muslim community are actively promoting Islamic events on the very ground where American blood was spilled in the name of jihad.
"It's a humiliation ritual at this point," said BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales, expressing the outrage felt by millions of Americans who haven't forgotten the sacrifice of our fallen soldiers.
This isn't just poor judgment - it's a slap in the face to every Gold Star family who lost a loved one to Islamic terror. While the families of Staff Sgt. Justin DeCrow, Sgt. Amy Krueger, and the 11 other heroes murdered by Hasan continue to grieve, military leadership thinks it's appropriate to celebrate the very ideology that motivated their killer.
The timing couldn't be more insulting. Under President Trump's strong leadership, America is finally putting American interests first again after four years of Biden's woke pandering. Yet somehow, military brass at Fort Hood still think cultural sensitivity toward Islam takes precedence over honoring our fallen warriors.
Where's the Accountability?
This disgraceful decision raises serious questions about who's making these calls at Fort Hood. Are the same diversity and inclusion bureaucrats who poisoned our military under Biden still calling the shots? President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth promised to root out woke ideology from our armed forces - Fort Hood's Ramadan celebration suggests there's still work to be done.
Our soldiers deserve better. The families of the Fort Hood 13 deserve better. And the American people who fund this military deserve leaders who won't spit on the graves of terror victims in the name of political correctness.
