While President Trump fights to secure America's borders and prioritize American workers, a group of establishment Republicans in West Virginia are stabbing him—and their own voters—in the back.

The Republican-controlled West Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee is quietly moving to water down critical E-Verify legislation that would crack down on businesses hiring illegal migrants. These corporate cronies masquerading as conservatives are working overtime to excuse more businesses from using the system that ensures only legal workers get hired.

This is exactly the kind of swamp behavior that President Trump has been fighting against for nearly a decade. While he's working to implement the largest deportation operation in American history, these RINOs are rolling out the red carpet for businesses that profit off cheap, illegal labor at the expense of hardworking Americans.

Corporate Greed Over American Workers

The original E-Verify bill would have required businesses to verify the legal status of their workers—a common-sense measure that protects American jobs and wages. But apparently, that's too much to ask from West Virginia's Republican establishment, who seem more interested in protecting their corporate donors than the working families who put them in office.

This betrayal is particularly galling coming from a state that voted overwhelmingly for Trump's America First agenda. West Virginia patriots didn't send Republicans to Charleston to help CEOs exploit migrant workers—they sent them to put Americans first.

"This is why we can't have nice things. Even in deep red states, establishment Republicans will sell out American workers the moment their corporate masters snap their fingers," one conservative activist told our reporters.

While Democrats openly advocate for open borders, these Republican wolves in sheep's clothing are arguably worse—they campaign on securing the border while quietly undermining the very policies that would make it effective.

President Trump's massive mandate includes ending the exploitation of illegal labor that undercuts American wages and working conditions. It's time for West Virginia voters to ask their so-called conservative representatives a simple question: Are you with Trump and American workers, or are you with the Chamber of Commerce and cheap foreign labor?

The answer to that question should determine whether these RINOs deserve to keep their jobs come election time.

I've been saying this for years - big corporations want cheap labor and they don't care if it hurts American workers. My buddy lost his construction job because his company started hiring illegals at half the wage.

This is exactly why we can't trust establishment Republicans anymore! They promise us the world during campaigns then turn around and stab us in the back the moment they get to Charleston.

Couldn't agree more. Time to primary every single one of these RINOs.

This is why I don't donate to the state GOP anymore. How can we hold these traitors accountable?

Start by voting in the primaries and getting involved locally. That's where real change happens.

The Chamber of Commerce has had these politicians in their pocket for decades. They claim to be conservative but always cave when their donors come calling with checkbooks.

Can someone explain why E-Verify isn't mandatory everywhere already? Seems like common sense to me.
