Just three weeks into President Trump's historic second term, some conservatives are already getting comfortable – and that's exactly the wrong move at exactly the wrong time.
While Trump and his team are moving at lightning speed to implement their America First agenda, rolling back Biden's disastrous policies and beginning the largest deportation operation in U.S. history, there's a dangerous sense of "mission accomplished" creeping into conservative circles. Patriots, we cannot afford this luxury.
The deep state didn't pack up and leave Washington just because Trump won decisively in November. The same federal bureaucrats who spent four years weaponizing government against everyday Americans are still embedded throughout the administrative state, waiting for their moment to strike back.
The Real Fight Is Just Beginning
Think about it – we're barely scratched the surface of what needs to happen. Yes, Trump has already begun mass deportations and started dismantling the woke military policies that weakened our national defense. But the corrupt FBI agents who raided Mar-a-Lago are still collecting paychecks. The IRS bureaucrats who targeted conservative groups are still in their offices. The Justice Department officials who turned parents into "domestic terrorists" for attending school board meetings haven't been held accountable.
"The moment we get comfortable is the moment we lose everything we've fought for," one senior administration official told allies this week. "These people didn't give up power willingly, and they're not going to let us keep it without a fight."
Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency is making headlines with plans to slash federal spending and eliminate wasteful programs, but even he acknowledges this is a multi-year battle against entrenched interests who profit from the swamp.
Meanwhile, Democrats and their media allies are already plotting their comeback strategy, hoping conservatives will get distracted or lose momentum. They're counting on us to declare victory too early and go back to our normal lives while they regroup and rebuild their power structure.
Stay in the Fight
This isn't the time to celebrate and coast – this is the time to press our advantage harder than ever. Every day we let up is another day for the establishment to reorganize and counterattack.
Are you ready to see this fight through to the finish, or will you let the swamp reclaim what we've worked so hard to drain?
