Four suspected terror attacks have rocked the United States during the Department of Homeland Security shutdown, exposing the catastrophic failures of the bloated federal agency while establishment Republicans rush to restore funding to the same bureaucrats who let terrorists slip through our borders.
Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers – a classic Washington RINO – immediately called for reopening DHS after the attacks, proving once again that establishment Republicans learn nothing from government failures. Instead of demanding accountability for the security breaches that allowed these attacks, Rogers wants to throw more taxpayer money at the same incompetent bureaucrats.
"We need to fund DHS immediately," Rogers reportedly stated, parroting the exact talking points beloved by Democrats and the deep state establishment. This is the same DHS that has overseen the worst border crisis in American history under the failed Biden regime.
Where Was DHS When Americans Needed Protection?
Patriots are asking the obvious question: if DHS was supposedly protecting us, how did four terror attacks happen on their watch? The agency has been too busy persecuting January 6th political prisoners and targeting concerned parents at school board meetings to focus on actual national security threats.
Meanwhile, President Trump's America First agenda continues to face sabotage from within the Republican Party. While Trump fights to secure our borders and protect American families, RINOs like Rogers are already surrendering to the Washington establishment's demands for endless government spending.
"The American people deserve better than throwing good money after bad at agencies that have failed to protect us," said one Trump administration official.
The contrast couldn't be clearer: Trump wants to drain the swamp and rebuild our security apparatus from the ground up, while establishment Republicans want to preserve the broken status quo that enabled these attacks in the first place.
